supermoto axle sliders for 07?

Default supermoto axle sliders for 07?

Does anyone know if there are any axle sliders that will fit an 07? I saw some for a klx300r on motostrano.com and was wondering if they'd work on our bikes.

300R axle is same as 07. 09 is different.

One more question...

Do we just discard the cotter pin for the rear axle nut? I'm assuming so in order to run the axle slider rod through.

You are kidding right? This must be an inside joke somewhere in here.
Do not reuse a cotter pin.

What are you talking about? I've reused condoms before and never had a breakage problem... I don't see why cotter pins would be any different.

I'm an 09'er and I was planning to use some all-thread rod, replacement sliders from SME, and some washers and lock-nuts to make axle sliders. Some folks do this with skateboard wheels.

I ended up using the skateboard wheel method. $6 in hardware from Lowes and my old skateboard wheels; can't argue with the price and it looks good IMO.
