RE: Supercross Starts this weekend!
well, supercross gp. the real AMA season doesn't start until 2007. but i'm pulling for reed and windham. stewart just doesn't have what it takes to be a champ. he's too reckless and inconsistent imo. anyways, if RC shows up like his website says he will, he'll dominate everyone again, hands down. i can't wait. the TiVo is revved up and waiting.

Other than RC, no one can touch Stewart. People use to say RC was reckless and rode beyond his skills also in the McGrath days, similar to what folks say about Stewart now. Stewart has reigned himself in a lot, though, seems more refined and doesn't seem to hang it out there quite so much as was shown in the Mxdn, in spite of a quick succession of bad luck during last year's MX nationals. He did win the SX opener in Vegas a month or so pretty handily. RC seems to be better at MX than SX and it seems to be just the opposite with Stewart.
The lites are pretty exciting too - watch out for Villopoto - the other guy in green burnin' up the track.
Glad the season is starting ... I haven't had to change my Tivo from last year's settings.

They are awesome ,even the guy that come in last is a great rider in my opinion.
You dont apreshiate their skill until you ride yourself ,They come to Vancouver on the 9th of December already have my ticket.

Reed definitely does favor SX, but in MX he appeared to be struggling and was typically a few minutes behind Stewart who was usually well behind RC with the exception of a few rounds, at least going by last year's results. Regardless, those top 4 or 5 guys are nothing short of phonomenal - head and shoulders above the rest. But certainly SX is not MX and both Stewart and Reed tend to do better at SX. Should be a fun year. If one of the races gets close to where I am I think I'll have to snag some tickets and see it in person.

Both Supercross and Motocross are interesting to watch. However, I'm a bit too old to try and go out and do what those guys do on a dirtbike. I could ride the track, it's the recovery procees that would be elongated.
However, I'm waiting for "THE" racing season to start. That would be the Red Bull AMA Supermoto racing! Not sure if they're gonna let the 450 Aprilia run the series or not. However watching Jeff Ward slide his bike around those courses is just awesome.
