suggestions on hiding in the woods
Help/suggestions please. I bought the KLX to use in section hikes...I carry it on a Montero and leave it at one trail head, drive to the other and hike back to the bike then drive to the Montero.
When I leave it I chain it and hide it in the woods as best as possible, even been carrying a 3d camo tarp to put on it....my question is this, does it matter which side I lay the bike on? Does it matter if it is pointed uphill or downhill?
thanks for any pointers.

RE: suggestions on hiding in the woods
well, i have dropped mine on both sides and the gas seems to pour out when on the right side more than the left. also i would think uphill as opposed to down. this is a really cool bike, hope that chain is hefty...

If you leave it lying horizontal, it won't hurt wnything, but half of your gas will drain out of the tank through the overflow. IF you can keep it at least 30 degrees form horizontal, not too much should pour out. Neither side should matter.
