grinded past the few stripped threads on top, filed it down and got the nut back on. should be good with some loctite!

This is one of my favorite tricks...

but i usually forget to try it until after I've exhausted (no pun intended) every curse word in the book, and all other options. It's almost always the quickest and least frustrating way to remove stuck or broken bolts.
