Default Street gearing

What are the stock sprocket sizes and what is the largest front available and the smallest back size available? I know most people gear it the othe way, but I like the gearing as tall as possible sometimes.
Thanks.

14x42 is stock.

13's and 15's front are available.

Rears go into the 30's.

With the small amount of power we have, I don't see anything faster then stock being usable.

unless you have more power than stock any gearing higher than stock will be useless

The only way you are gonna go smaller back or bigger front is if you get 17" wheels.

I forget what size I run in the back for my SM wheels but it's not 42. Whatever the SF model has. 39 I think.

It's still basically the same as the stock 14/42 and 18"/21" tires.

Someone tried a 15t front and basically it was a no go unless you know you aren't going to go uphill at all.

Thanks for the info. I plan on getting the 351 kit so pulling the taller gearing shouldn't be an issue. I currently have a crf230f w/ a 15 front and 40 rear and you are right, it won't even pull the slightest hill in 6th, but it sure is nice to be able to plod along at 60 mph only turning about 5k rpms...

Yea stock gearing (14-42) made 6th gear just about as worthless as ***** on a Nun. And I would imagine that the smaller you go on the back, the faster you will wear out the plastic chain rail. Just a thought. Try the stock gears for a week, and if you're ok with it, then leave it, but if you find yourself wanting more speed, get a 15 up front, but I wouldn't go any higher, or you will be shifting up going downhill.

I had a 15t for a while, but found the slightest rise in the road meant I had to change down or sacrifice speed, and off roading REALLY suffered (bye bye hill climbs...)

Really recommend modding the bike for more power first, then adjusting the gearing.
