Strange clutch problem -No start - start / die

Well,....yea, but I thought that's what we were supposed to do.

Is there a replacement clutch lever / switch setup that is tougher??

Does anybody else ever get the feeling that by the time we are satisfied with our bikes the only thing left that will be original will be the rider???

There's no reason to keep that safety switch unless you think you're going to start the bike in gear with the throttle wide open. If you do hit the starter while in gear with the clutch released, all that will happen is the bike will lurch forward and die. It won't take off, it'll just jerk forward.

As for modding, its a matter of what you want the bike to be. After exhaust and handlebars, I'll be done modding mine. Big bore and springs are too much work and money. Gotta draw the line between spending money on the bike and RIDING it.
