Default Stock turn signal tuck

Has anyone tucked the stock turn signals on an 09 KLX250S and if so how was it done? The stock extensions are hard plastic and the light housings are hollow. Any ideas?

I have hold on let me find my post and pics.

Here's my write-up thread from nearly one year ago (wow its been a while)

https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=25740

Basically we poked them inside the plastic rear fender wings and created bracketry as part of the licence plate shortening. Took us an afternoon with the dremmel and some spare hunks of alluminum.

Let me know if you have some questions or a better way you like to try.

On a related note, has anyone done something similar on the 06/07 models? I got rid of my rack, but would like to still have some signals. Just not quite as huge as the stock setup.

i like the zeta hand guards with the leds, and some flush mount signels for the rear. i like them super small, but a lot of people like to be seen, so try looking up mini stalks. i got mine from http://www.luckybike.com. the zetas i got from http://www.wheelingcyclesupply.com/s...gory&cat_id=76.

IIRC you can't really tuck the front turn signals... the mounts are pretty much set and there's nowhere to move them... IMHO the fronts don't look bad at all.
