You are right, i was wrong. I will correct my stuff and delete whatever.

Still, the baseline is available from a Kaw dealer and all I did different from the list was 2-1/2 turns on the idle mix screw and added the DAJ. It will pull red line if called on, but pulls strong to the power peak, even with the 15/39 sproket set.

Remeber the power peak is around 8600 rpm. Anything above that is pure over-rev territory, it won't pull any stronger - time to shift.

I won't debate subjective topics such as target AFR for max power, I will only say my online research resulted in 12.8:1 - My charts show power levels with 12's, 13's, 14's etc... So there is data to consider when one is forming an opinion.. I cannot get my operator to spin it up above 9500 and the small amount of data above 9k is not optimal for analysis..None-the-less, I have to go with the data available. From the top most chart (https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...-system-42926/) there is no clear advantage to going more rich than DJ144..

The data I've collected indicates that the choice of exhaust systems will radically change AFR requirements. Consider this chart, which uses the same carb setup with only a change in exhaust systems. The runs were taken only moments apart.. Be a deep thinker on this for a while and see what you come up with..

I'll help with a little detail: The DGR midpipe is same or very close to same size as the stock header. The FMF system is larger piping the whole way up to the muffler.
