Stock exhaust

Question Stock exhaust

If I drill the first baffle out will the carb need to be rejeted? Thanks Yank.

If you drill the first baffle, it will make your spark arrester ineffective.

Here is a pic....



You can see what it does. Just puts a hole in the center of the piece that spins the exhaust so the heavy particles go to the outside.

I did it first and it does not sound much different.

No it wont need rejetted but it don't do much, I could tell only a very slight improvment and I did got more popping on decel.

If your bike is jetted stock, Installing a Dyno Jet Kit will help weather you mess with the exhaust or not.
