Default Stiffer fork and shock springs for an '09

Who makes em? Where do I get them? I'm having a hard time finding anything for an '09. '07 and before, I can find anything but that does me no good. I'm a big, fat guy and I need to stiffen this up some.

Part of the problem with springs is knowing what you have. If the attachment goes through fine you'll find a zip of an Excel spring rate calculator I recently made. With calipers and the Excel file you can determine the spring you have to find something different.

+1 ... no secret I'm a happy Moto-Pro customer.

You can also check out Race-Tech. These two are among the best known, but lots of other good alternatives ... Google away.

You might try Cogent Dynamics

I bought .44 kg/mm fork springs and a .61 kg/mm shock spring from Cogent and it really helped the suspension. If you only want to do one end do the fork springs.

Question Front Fork Pre load

Excuse my ignorance but is it not possible to adjust the pre load on the 09 KLXs 250 front forks. I weigh 187lb and have about 1 1/2 inches of static sag. Also is there a replacement cap available for the top of the forks that has the air bleed screw in it.

You can put spacers in the top of the forks to give you a little "preload". But you are heavier than me and I rather like my .46 springs... But spacers would be a temporary solution.

I have only seen valves that replace the brass screws.
