Looks like the flier was made up quite a while ago ... Stewart won't be riding anytime soon. Knee surgery, out for the rest of the season and won't be racing MXdN in Sept. He'll be lucky to be back for SX from what I hear.

Yea? Hmm, I don't really keep track of Non-Monster riders.. We are sponsoring a girl who is trying to break the landspeed record on a bike. We are about to drop our drag racer that qwe just got a little while ago and We dropped Mike Metzger for good because he went to the dr. and the doctor told him to stop riding for good and now he is broke =]

Hey Brian, When did that come about? I hadn't heard about the knee surgery. I guess I need to crawl out of my hole more often!

Hey Brian, When did that come about? I hadn't heard about the knee surgery. I guess I need to crawl out of my hole more often!
That happened at Washougal. He was still riding injured from a hard fall during practice that kept him out at Unadilla, several races prior. He was looking pretty good, really, even in the lead I think and with only a lap or two to go of the second moto, he had his left leg outstretched as usual going into a left hand turn and his front tire caught a rock or something which kicked the front end out and his left leg jabbed into the ground and popped his knee out. Kind've a freak thing, really. Even after missing Unadilla and the DNF at Washougal, he was still in the points lead. But with not being able to race Millville that would have put him too far behind to come back with only 3 races left since Ferry was right there pretty much neck and neck at that point. So I think with the championship not looking good, they decided to get the surgery now in hopes to be recovered by the SX season. But MXdN is pretty much a no go if he has surgury. But if he doesn't have surgury now, it could come back to haunt him later.

But the good news is that Ferry, the other Kawasaki 450 rider, will probably take the championship as long as he can hold it together. That's pretty cool, too, because Ferry is an old guy, by comparison to all the young guns there.

Man I almost went to Washougal a few weeks ago. I heard there were 30,000 people there. Hmmmm I don't really like crowds much. But it would be cool to go just once. Its about 45 minutes from my mom's house.
