stage 2 kit
09 klx250s...i put a fmf q4 slip on and a stock 127.5 jet and took off the snorkle.....it's still running lean and takes an hour to warm up and run decent...i ordered the klx300 stage 2 jet kit...i'm going to put the 128 jet in it and the needle on the second clip up. Any advice?

Put in a 127.5 stock jet?
Somethings goofy here, a 2206 stage II dyno jet kit comes with a 120, 124, 128 and a 132 jet. The bike should run just fine with a 124 or a 128 jet with your mods. Since you said you removed the snorkel, I would start with a 128 on like the 3rd or 4th clip on the needle.
Did you remove the fuel mixture plug? And adjust the fuel screw? If not, this could be your problem. Also, even with my jet kit, when it is like 35 degrees out, my bike takes a bit to get warm. Don't know if weather is a factor where you are at.

A Thermo-Bob fixes the long warm-up times. My bike warms sufficiently to run fine within minutes. It's a VERY over-built cooling system, and it works too effectively to keep the coolant at a decent, warm temp, if the air temp is cool or cold.

My SF was running rough since the temp. has dropped around here. I run a FMF Q4 with a high flow air filter and the air box lid removed. I also have the DJ kit installed. I was running a 128 but when the temps drops it was needing choked to start and it was choking while running at 60mph. So I swapped out the 128 for the 134 and we will see what happens.
