Sprockets
Looking at sprockets- I am going to go 13t-45, but at dealer they don't have em. What bikes sprockets will work with ours? (2009 klx250s)
I am guessing sprockets are not universal- but have no idea.
Thanks!

most online stores allows you to pick the bike and search parts for that bike....in that size, you have a lot of options

I am using JT Sprockets and they work just fine. Fair price and good quality. You can find them online almost anywhere. I´ve got mine on ebay.

Awesome- thanks guys!
Looks like no one has the 13t- renthal. Would it be worth waiting for renthal or Would the no name manufacturer be okay? Just steel right?
Thanks again

need a 520, it's the distance between pins, also known as a 5/8" pitch. A 525 is the same pitch but wider fwiw.
Another little factoid, because it's 5/8" pitch if you held a ruler up to it all the pin centers should fall on a 1/8" mark. If the pin centers start wandering off the 1/8" marks as you go further down the chain the chain is worn.

Spend at least enough to get an oring or x ring chain, from there you more or less get what you pay for, the klx is low powered and small bike, not particularly hard on chains, just don't run em too tight. A mid priced chain will last a long time.
