Default Springs and Exhaust

Race-Tech doesn't list GoldValve kit and springs specific to the 2007 KLX250S, only for the KLX300R. I emailed them about my KLX250S and haven't heard back. Has anyone installed the GoldValve and springs? Are they worth the cost? Is it something I should have my local shop do, they are Race-Tech trained, or is something I can do myself? If so, do I need any special tools?

Forget the exhaust, that's a different post. The springs and GoldValve I'm talking about are for the front suspension.

eas,

mooredan installed the moto pro ultramax valves, a very detailed writeup with pictures can be found at http://klx250s.suncup.net/MotoPro/index.htm. The ultramax valves are justlike the GoldValve.

I'm sorry, but I do not know for sure which (if any) GoldValve kits fit.

I contacted racetech and they currently do not carry springs for the 250, but are considering offering only one strength spring for it anyhow, I believe it will be .40kg/mm, nit quite heavy enough for many of the riders on this forum.

However, motopro does offer quite a variety of fork springs, but I have been awaiting a reply from them regarding pricing and shipping to Nova Scotia for well over 2 weeks...I don't know if they are just busy or simply ignoring me.[&:]
