Spoke tension

I thought that had to do with the Coriolis Effect?
We've got some Aussies here, what's easier for you? Right or left? Take slow turns as tight as possible for an idea of which is easier for you.

Yep, turning left is my preferred way.
If I have to do a u turn on a tight track, I prefer to do it tuning left.
I don't know why but I am right handed.
I just figured it was down to the fact that the more you do it, the more you do it. If you know what i mean.
If I started waaayyyyyy back turning right, then maybe I would now prefer that.

Yeah I'm definately way more comfortable turning around to the left, I do it 9 outta 10 times unless the situation demands a RH turnaround... I think ^^^ hit it on the head, turning mostly to the left wore that side of my tire more and over 3000 miles its very exaggerated.

Keep in mind you are pulling the rim towards the hub AND slightly out of center If there is a bent rim involved, then it gets real tricky.... I had an old honda that had a bent rim (guy curb drove it prior to his face plant. Hd a very slight bend. I tensioned the spokes to true her back in shape.... used a reference (taped a pencil) on the fork for a guide.
