Default SPEEDOMETER

Just wondering how you guys are correcting the speedometer after the 13t front sprocket. I assume that the speedo runs off of the transmission and would therefore read faster than actual speed. I have a 13t ordered and just trying to figure out what else I may need.

BTW, most of the stock speedometers are off by around 10%. so if you think you are going 50 MPG according to the speedo, your actual speed is more like 45. If you want to check yours specifically, mount a GPS receiver on your handlebars and compare the GPS receiver reported speed with your speedometer reading.

Don't feel bad, when I was 14 we had this old radio from the 1930's and I asked my mom if it only played old music LOL........OK I was 14, so unless you are 14 then that was funny. Oh and I didn't know what a Poker Run was until this week.[&:]

After you stuff yourself with breakfast, and are real sleepy, you get a punch card and a map. Now you try to follow the course, argue with your Buddy's, then get your card punched out at each check point. At the end of the day your punch card will reflect you poker hand. Best hands win stuff.

H'mmm, that's sounds like fun!

Now, if we could only come up with a "Dualsport Poker Run"! You know, both on and off road stuff, just like our bikes are designed for!

Yes, we'll invite the Harley crowd. We can always use some good laughs!
