Default Speedo gear ?

What is the differences in the speedo gears between the s and sf.

This weekend I am doing the swap from an SF to an S. Suspension wheels and everything.

From the speedo sensor at the wheel up to the dash, what is exactly the difference between the two bikes? Would we have to swap dash's, the sensor or both to get them to be reading like they should again.

Dont garbage this thread up with buy this chip or get the vapor setup. Not interested in that.

Check the part numbers on the fiche at bike bandit or the like.

IIRC someone looked this up last year and it was the actual gauges that were different and not the speed sensor.

Looked the parts up. Same part number for gauges and sensor. Guess I will just go with the vapor kit down the line.

Looking at the part numbers on Mr Cycles they are exactly the same. I'm guessing the conversion is done in the dash. I will call a dealer today and see if someone there may know for sure.
