Spare wheels - what fits?

Spare wheels - what fits?
I'm looking for a set of spare wheels to put street tires on. So far I have front and rear 09 SF wheels and a front S wheel. Looking at the off road wheels for the klx250sf sticky thread, it looks like I can mount the SF wheels if I just swap the brake discs. Can anyone confirm or deny that?
Alternatively, I can get another rear to match the spare front. In the same thread is a hub part # list:
The 2007 KLX-S REAR hub fits TONS of different bikes. Here is the list:
1995-2006 KDX200
1997-2005 KDX220R
1991-1994 KDX250
1994-1996 KLX250R
2006-2007 KLX250S (Obviously)
1997-2007 KLX300R
1993-1996 KLX650R
Does that necessarily mean all these rear wheels are interchangeable? Or will they have different size rotors and sprockets?
Thanks!

What year is your 250? If I recall correctly from reading on here somewhere the '06/'07 have different hubs than the '09&up and their wheels aren't interchangeable. Might be wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me.

Mate, you're trying to cover 3 topics here:
- Hubs - As you have the front wheel that fits you have the more difficult hub covered. All those other rear hubs listed should fit your bike without a problem.
- Brake discs - you need to do some surfing on this one. I believe the front disc sizes are the same for all the "S" model KLX's. The "SF" models tend to have larger discs. On the rear, I believe the rear disc's are the same size for all "S" KLX's up until the 2008 model. From the 2009 model onwards the "S" discs are slightly larger. I have no idea about disc sizes for the rear "SF" KLX's or any of the non-klx hubs. If you look on eBay there are plenty of listing for KLX brake discs and they are pretty reasonably priced.
- sprocket - The sprocket for all "S" KLX's should be the same for all year models. "SF" KLX's will have a different size sprocket to make up for the 17" rims that are laced onto the hubs. For the non-KLX rear hubs, I have no idea how many teeth the rear sprocket will have so you will need to do your research. Again, eBay has KLX rear sprockets listed, and Rocky Mountain ATV has had the Primary Drive sprockets on sale for some $30 or so - I would be looking at buying a new sprocket if I were you.
Hope that helps.

No spacer issues, just small rotor issue.

I tried a test fit of the SF rear wheel, and I quickly ran into a problem. The SF's street tire is much wider than the S's dirt tire, and it won't clear the chain guide on the bottom of the swing arm. If I get motivated, I'll take the guide off and try again, but this is looking less and less like an easy back and forth swap.

Ok, I mounted the rear wheel yesterday without much issue. I had to take the chain guide off so the tire would clear and then bolt it back up. The SF rear wheel has a 39 tooth sprocket as opposed to the stock 42, so the chain is loose. I have the adjusters all the way at 9, but I think it's OK.
The front wheel didn't go as well. The SF hub does NOT work with the S speedo gear. The speed sensor for the 2009 SF is magnetic.
