Some pics from today's ride
Rest stop. Five of us in all, local ADVrider crew.
Truckin' runs out of air:
Who knew TT was trained in the art of Japanese sai?
Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.
Every job needs a supervisor. :lol3
How many A51C crew does it take to mount a wheel. Looks like 4. :lol3
A deep washout snuck up on TW and decided it liked his bike more than he did and wanted to keep it for itself and proceeded to eject TW in the process. There is where it happened.
TW said, "Forget about me, how's my bike?!!"
Cooling off in the shade back at the farm. Hopefully next time won't be so "eventful." :thumb

Unfortunately, that's what happened. He was all right, a little shaken up. The blood inside the goggles was a bit disturbing until we could confirm how bad it was (not too bad). Then he was feeling better.

The blue ones are mine, got them from Blue Ridge Racing. They're kinda pricey, but very light and very strong. The first time I hefted one it felt so light I was thinking this could almost float on water.

I've had mine for several years now. The axle nut gave before the wrench when a 220 lb buddy put his full weight on one and bounced up and down to coerce the nut loose. I thought for sure the wrench would not hold, but it did. The nut gave way first.
Also, they work great. Even at home in the garage, I fish these out of my tool pack and use them for changing tires. I no longer use those big heavy steel irons. These work better.

Smugmug says: "Temporary Service Interruption"
Typical corporate response that goes something like this - "We are aware of the problem and are taking steps to correct it at the present time."
Should be back soon, they say "a few minutes."
