Default Some New Gear!

This weekend someone walked into my garage and stole all my riding gear along with some other stuff. To make a long story short one of my garage doors did not shut because it hit the trash can and kicked it back open. Now after dealing with the police and my insurance it's time to go SHOPPING!!! Luckily they were just kids and none of my motorcycles were missing. Just Leathers, two helmets, boots, gloves, a drill, back pack, gps, digital camera, my daughters new bike and an I Pod. Came out to about $3500.00. Well the folks at Motorcycle Superstore are happy tonight.

All to go with the new bike I am putting a deposit on. Ya another KTM!

I really don't know if KTM is importing the 990R into the states but I am going to talk to my dealer tomorrow. I hope they do! I rode the Ducati HM for about 70 miles last Thursday. That bike is sick!! I haven't had that much fun on a bike in a while. I really like the looks of the KTM better and it seems more what I want out of a bike. So, I have to wait to see if it is coming. If not I will settle for a regular Super Duke to replace my ZX10R.

That sucks about your stuff. Last monday I forgot to lock my truck door and some punks stole my iPod, and took the ashtray right out (i had about 10 bucks change in there). Morons (lucky for me) left the GPS, deck, xm radio radar detector and my bullydog chip.

Sweet replacements though!

Stinking thieves. Like I have said before, I would rather have some loser try and car jack me in the daylight than sneak around stealing after dark. GRRRRRRR[:@][:@][:@] Oh and Evildoer don't get the KTM, get the Ducati, and then let me know if I should get one too.

Hmmmm looks like someone is borrowing design ideas.

Well the KTM has been out longer than the Ducati. Just saying.

I took a Ducati on a test ride last week. That bike is awesome! I rode about 70 miles. I had it out for nearly 4 hours. The bike was the 1100S with the full pipe, remapped, air filter, and slipper clutch along with some nice carbon fiber pieces that looked bad to the bone. The bike will pull up in the first three gears with no problem and the breaks are incredible! The ride is similar to a supermoto justmore weight. I have been up in the air about these bikes, I am still not 100% sure but I am leaning toward the KTM. I like the top end rush of the SD better and the orange frame is just the baddest. The KTM looks like it would bite you if you mess with it! The Ducati runs out of steam on the upper revs.
