As you can see, quite a few of us here have KLRs too. It's an ideal complement to the KLX. I rode mine everywhere before I got tired of picking up a 430 lb. pig on the side of a muddy hill in the rain. Did Death Valley 3 years with it, then took the KLX. Much easier. I still use the KLR for camping trips and long street rides and put a lot more miles on it than the KLX. But I have more fun per mile on the little bike.
