Default So long KLX

I've had my 2007 KLX250s since it was new, It's been a great bike, but it's now time to move on. Just bought me a new toy, so it's time to let the ol KLX on to a new owner to enjoy. If anyone's interested I'm selling the bike with dirt rims and supermoto rims for $2500

And here's the new toy

At first I was thinking, uh, why sell your KLX? But then I saw the Husky, and all was clear. I understand. What a beautiful new baby! Good luck and have fun with her!

*LOL* I also got myself a Husky - though mine is the 2010 TE450. Hope you don't have too much trouble with fork seals as the Zokes seem to be a bit hit and miss. Great bikes otherwise.

Make sure to bleed off the fork pressure built up frequently. Thats supposed to help the fork seals I read somewhere. I used the tearoff under the fork seal trick which seemed to help.

The 2010 is the first model they used KYB 48mm's on the Huskies so my bike is fine. Just know the 2009 and older models had Zokes which were problematic.

Kinda funny how ZipTy racing Ty Davis runs the 50 mm zokes on his race bikes even tho the kybs are original equipment on the '10 - later tc/txc/te huskys. I read the dirt bike mag article on how to service the zokes and I wouldn't touch my forks since I don't have the specialized/exotic tools to service/revalve them.....

Hey you have to do what makes you happy, and if thats letting the KLX go, then thats ok. Just keep in mind, we are still here for ya, and hey, perhaps you can photoshop that new bike to green and pretend. LOL
