Default So I smashed the speedometer/odometer...what to replace it with?

As the title says, I managed to mangle my speedo/odo area by sliding into a tree. The tach and trip meter still work, but nothing else (including the lights!). After taking it apart, I determined I will pretty much need an entirely new assembly in there, which can't be cheap.

I've seen some aftermarket ones installed on our bikes, but forget what they were. Any recommendations? Or should I just go the OEM route? I did like the temp sensor light and the neutral indicator...

Ouch. The OEM probably won't be cheap to replace. Vapor TrailTech is one of the aftermarket clusters. As for the whole Temp and Neutral lights, you can re-wire those up to led or another bulb if the aftermarket cluster doesn't include one.

I smashed mine up on my old bike and never did replace it. The gauges are nice to have but you really don't need them. Depends how much you want to spend.

That $100 sounds like a deal for the stock set up.

Well my bike is so far from stock now ..... keeping that stuff for resale is well...pointless. I think that price is fair.

If you go through this post you can see what the stock cluster will cost,
they sell all the parts separately, a $ 100 is a great deal, if stock is what you want grab it !!
