With my KLX340, I can literally lug it down to it's final weezes, then goose the throttle and she picks right back up. No flame-outs or hiccups. I've kinda gotten used to that, and I didn't want a bike that I have rev and clutch all the time. The TE 310 is considerably lighter than my KLX, plus they were on sale, so that's what led me to look at one.
After even the Husky dealers told me that the TE 310 needs to be revved and ridden hard to make it happy, I moved on to look at other bikes. I was asking how you liked your Husky to see if I made the right call. This is what I ended up buying...
Both of my KLX's...
It's a new 2008 leftover that I got for used price. I'm already in the process of getting it plated. It's hard to do in PA, but not impossible. So far, I like it a lot. The 450 has got some big hairy *****, but I can lug it down just like my 340. I'm keeping both of them.
