slow-mo vid from yesterday..
My buddy has a new Sony Slow motion vid cam - it's pretty sick! Was just playing around on a small kicker in some local woods. Just slow rolling over it, was pretty fun.
I knew I needed to stiffen the suspension, but after seeing this video now I really know I need to

NoBrakes - it's a small Sony of some sort.. I'll ask him the model #. Looks like regular point and shoot digicam. Has two settings, that's the faster of the slow-mo. He said the slow-slow-mo you need a lot of light for it to come out good.
jimntr - yes, all stock with the stiffest settings.

I did some snooping around and found it kind of intersting how they accomplish that. Looks like they capture and buffer a short spurt, like about 240 frames over 3sec (80fps), then write those frames to media spead-out over like a 10sec time span. Pretty cool stuff.

that looks very cool. i'm surprised how much your springs compressed. i know mine would be exactly the same but you don't always feel it. now that i've seen it, it looks like my next mod will probably be suspension. man, i thought i was done... guess not.
btw, i went to an MX track last weekend and got a chance to sit in a booth right next to the double jump. it was insane, bikes leaping into the air 10 feet from where we were standing. the booth was raised up so you could be level with the riders when they were in mid-jump. i'm seriously considering getting a strictly off-road bike... not this year though!
