Slippin' Sliders
#21
Joel. I shot them an e-mail and they said they would make some for the KLX if I could provide them with the measurements of the axels in all 4 sides.
I didnt ask about engine protectors, but seeing as he also makes them for other bikes I am thinking he might make those for the KLX as well if I provide him with the measurements. Now that I know the length of the one you have, I just need to measure the hole in the frame.

The engine/frame sliders use a 10mm diameter rod. I think I machined it to be 16.75 inches long and the Mushrooms stick out about another 1.5 inches on each side, so I think over all my sliders are about 19.75 inches wide. However, Take the lengths with a grain of salt as I am basing them off of memory. I think I'm going home for fall break this weekend, so I can get exact measurements for everything then.
I know for a fact the hole the main rod goes through is 10mm diameter.

Crash sliders for Kawasaki KLX250
Hi Guys,
I own Jaybeebikerbits as mentioned on some other threads,
I have now done a set of axle sliders to fit the KLX250 from 2006 onwards . The set they are fit too is a 2013-14 model.
They locate in the axle or over the spindle nuts for a good fit, and the front has a m6 bar so fit through the hole in the axle.
They are now listed on ebay and soon on my website
