Thanks deej. I loved this bike and would love to get another dualsport. $$$

I am still a rider, I do have a TTR125LE, no plates limits my ability to ride a lot of places. Dualsports are the way to go up here.

Lesson learned on insurance too. I figured this was my 1st dualsport and I'd be beating the crap out of it on the trails. I hardly rode on pavement, it was mostly set up for trail riding. I tried to see if homeowners would cover it, but because it has(had) a plate, it was not eligible under homeowners.

Catie, Thanks for telling your amazing story. I'm glad no one was hurt, thats a real bummer about the bike. Hopefully you can get something out of it. Looks like perfect country for a dual sport bike.

That is one of THE great trail bike stories.
Fair dinkum.
One to save for the grand kids for sure.
As I get older, and with a bit of licence, that story could become mine.
"Once upon a time,
I was out riding with my girlfriend when this tree..........................."

I think I will copy and edit the first post to include the original Craig's List pictures. That way it won't be a dead link after a few days.

Thumbs up

Holy Crap! That is the most crazy story I have heard....
First of all I am glad noone got hurt or worse.
It is good to know that the event didn't sway your desire to ride....I am sure other would have definately walked away from the sport after something like that.
