What problem?
Is this a know/common thing?

Check plug and associated wiring. Sounds electrical to me.

BTW, have you got a stock DEZ muffler on your bike?
Never heard of that before.
Pics please.

Mine does it. Haven't been able to figure out what it is. I'm in the process of converting everything back to stock. I took it into the dealer and they said it was my jetting that was off. I'm going to take it back in (still under warranty) and demand to have the stock bike fixed like I should've done a year ago. Do a search for highway stutter and you'll see my threads bitching about it.

Mine does it too... bone stock 07. They are single cycle dropouts, happening when on the main jet, pretty much at all throttle settings. It's annoying, but so far, not critical.

I believe several people fixed this problem by fixing a wire connection under the seat. Not sure what to search for but it's definitely here some where. Good Luck. PS, Jets won't be intermittent.

My 07 does it too, mostly when you run it hard at higher RPM, can't figure out what is causing it but if the son of a bitch quits and leaves me stranded it's going into the closest ravine or hole and will be reported stolen.

A lean condition in jetting will feel just like a miss. You mostly feel it on the road when staying at a certain rpm.

Mine's got a miss every now and again when I'm at a steady 3.5-4k RPM. . Only in that RPM range though. Also has quite a popping/backfire if I chop the throttle closed at high RPM. Lean? seems like it could be. I'll raise my needle a clip and see what changes. Runs great though, starts easy and pulls hard up to about 8500.

340cc, FCR35, KLX300 exhaust/FSW header.

Love my 340! Best bike EVAR! hahaha
