The Utah skidplate is probably the most common, and the best buy. Use the search function here on KF, or Google it. Congrats on the new bike!

I have the Utah on my 2009 & I approve of it. I put some cut up vibration dapmpneing pads betweent he plate and the engine. Get the pads from an HVAC supply store.

UTAH FTW! For the price and ease of installation, it was well worth the $$. I believe there was a KF discount code as well. Looks like the P/N 266 will fit the 2010 as well.

Just make sure that the front mounting bolts you use are short!!! Don't use the supplied mounting bolts or one day you may launch in the air, land on a rock, and punch that bolt right through the bottom of your case.

Don't ask how I know this.

I just installed a Works Connection skid plate on mine. It is like a glorified stock piece it looks nice and is larger than the stocker but provides no side protection at all. The price was right as I got it for $20 on ebay and will do until I find a better one. I do like the rear caliper guard they sell for the 08 and up bikes though $30 for an aluminum one on their web site. I may have to get it.
