any chance of getting brand names, and part #s for skid plates. i really like the crd but cant seem to find one for sale, photos would sure be great do the skid plates for the klx 300 fit on our bikes ?

this is the skid plate i bought for my bike, fit like a glove.

 

I finally heard from Scott's Performance, and the guy says that he'll get some photos for me to post. Their skid plate is a wrap-around style like the CRD.

Yeah, I was thinkin' it looks pretty descent, and the price is right, too. There's 2 pages on their website, but only one shows the plate on sale for $58.46. Unfortunately, the picture isn't the KLX250/KLX300 plate, which is why I sent them an e-mail. Hopefully the guy will get back to me pretty quick ... he made it sound like all he had to do was snap some photos and download them. We'll see!

I hear you brother. Well, if you decide to ping them again, let them know that you have people on a discussion forum that are waiting to see the pics before they order. You'll be telling the truth because I am this close (makes international sign for "very close" with thumb and forefinger very close together) to buying this plate.

Maybe it's better if they wait because I really need to quit spending $ on this beast anyway.
