No weirdos

I am going to get one for the back of my 06 for locking light stuff up. I have seen the smaller and also one a little taller.

What do you have and what do you carry in it?

i'll have to dig up the model. it has plastic locking latches but you can get metal ones from the factory.

I have seen those pelicans break off of the rear rack and go bouncing down the road.... the metal clamps used to attach it broke. Be careful how you mount it

i love my moose tail bag

2 of the 22 oz MSR bottles fit perfectly and I can still get some tools on top.

Mine did break a clamp, but you just have to keep an eye on things. The adell clamps work great for mounting.

Thank you guys. I want need a hard lockable one so I can put things like my phone, wallet, extra key etc in it while in the gym or wherever. Likely I will store some some other things like spare bulbs and such too.

I would leave my wallet even if it's has a lock. It's fairly easy to overcome the security system with a screwdriver. .

case link: Seahorsecases.com: Seahorse SE-520 Case

it keeps my tools, rain gear, and camera dry and dust free

i am using the clamps listed above but am working on a 8020 rail mount so i can slide on/off easily.

Nice clean 009 deej. You've got my wheels turning now...

Would there be room to slide a plastic scabbard under there?

DOH! I was going to look before I headed out the door this morning. I'll look.... if I remember right there is not a lot of room between the box and the rack, but perhaps a thin fire hose would allow it to still slide under, but probably not a plastic scabbard. But looking at the pictures again, it may be possible to take off the tool bag and slide it between the hand pulls. Just a thought.
