Show me some handguards!?!

RE: Show me some handguards!?!
I'm running a set of moose aluminium bark busters. It takes a bit of finagling to get them on, but they work great.
Dunno about the ones with plastic spoilers though. I've only had one bike that had bark busters with spoilers on them, but that was back when I was riding a KX60, so I don't quite remember how they worked out :P
I like the plain aluminium ones though, because they give a bit more airflow to your hands whilst in the thicket. More air = drier hands = less blisters
I'd imagine that the spoilers would be nice on the mainland though, since it's alot colder up there (I live in Hi).

Thanks Eric, now I don't have to post mine, its the second bike in with the black spoilers (the clean bike). They are the aluminum backed Tusk handguards with optional spoiler. So far so good, they keep the brush off, and I've bounced them off trees with no problems. Added benefit is that they strengthen the bars too!

speaking of smacking things off trees/brush... yesterday i hit a decent sized tree branch with my right hand mirror it just took it right off... lol... snapped it, being the flexing ones i thaught it would fold over... nope... it bent it and snapped it off the mounted point, i was going pretty fast, it waslike a 1 1/2" tree branch...lol... almost hit my shoulder

i bought the moose guards also, but i could not get the right side to mount correctly around the brake. i took them back off and remounted the stock guards. i have been eyeballing the cycra problem solvers guards, or the fastway setups. looks like they'd work with no modifications or even adjustments necessary. a little pricey, but worth it by avoiding headaches.

Depending on the bar mounts it's sometimes hard to keep them from interfering with the clutch, throttle, and brake cables. Check out these Bonz mounts - these are great. I like these a lot. Should work with just about any handguard, but I'm not sure they fit the KLX handlebar clamp. If not, maybe someone could ask and see if they will make them for the KLX250S.
