Shorty Levers for KLX250S
Has anyone found shorty levers to fit the '07 KLX250S? Moose lists competition levers for the '94-'96 KLX250R and the '97-'03 KLX300, but not my '07 KLX250S. After putting 30" Moose comp handlebars w/Moose alum handguards on, I had to cut off the ball end of the clutch and brake levers for the levers to fit. I first tried "bending" the clutch lever only to have it break at the ball end. Funny thing though - when you fall without handguards and clutch perch loose, they custom bend without breaking on their own. Too bad I didn't save them from the first fall.

Can you move the whole brake lever and clutch lever assemblies a little inwards on your handlebars to give the lever more room? That is what I did when I installed my Rally Pro hand guards.

VFR Pilot grafated some ASVs to his bike--can ask him or search for his writeup. The clutch is pretty straight forward but he came up with something for the brake too.

The clutch lever for the klx300 will work. You do lose clutch saftey with the lever though. If you do nothing to the wiring the bike will only start in neutral or you can solder the wires together and the bike will start in gear, it will also start in gear if the clutch is not pulled in like this too so be careful. I think that the brake lever for the klx300 will also work but you lose the brake light function. You would have to install an inline pressure switch for your brake lights. Or you could do what I did, install the shorty clutch lever and solder the wires and then cut 3/4 of an inch off of the stock brake lever and then weld the ball back on the end for a custom shorty lever,

same here...I use an MSR Pro-Raptor shorty for the clutch with the switch wires soldered together and heat shrink wrapped. The front brake lever is cut off and ground down.Works great.

I JUST PICKED UP AND INSTALLED SOME ZETA LEVERS FROM WHEELING SUPPLY... THEY ARE PRETTY DOPE. THEY ARE THE PIVOTING LEVERS AND DIRECTLY FIT ONTO TO THE 2006 PERCH. YOU WANT TO GET THEM FOR D-TRACKER. THE COST ABOUT 90$ FOR BOTH THE CLUTCH AND BRAKE..
