Short Bikes
So I am seriously considering getting a bike for the GF. Wont be her first as she had a lowered ninja 250 a long time ago. But aparently even then she had to lean it a bit and be on her tiptoes.
She is Japanese and around 5'2" with short legs and longer torso. Anyone know what the shortest dual sport bikes are? I remember reading a thread about a guy who got some kind of honda 230cc for his wife or GF.
But what I would really like is to get a KLX250sf and lower it. Anyone know how low can a sf go? I would be willing to sacrifice some suspension travel as I dont think she would be ******* it off road even if I got more agressive tires.

how low can the supersherpa go? It only starts out 1.2" lower than the 250sf. Actually I forgot about the KLX125 that was on that europe anouncement that was posted a few days ago. That may be the ticket.

Thanks but I am thinking I will need to go lower. Based on current seat height of the Ninja 250 is 30" Assumeing it was the same for the year she had then hers was lowered and she had to lean the bike or tippy toe I am thinking I want/need to end up at maybe 29"
To make it more complicated I kind of want to surprise her as she is allready kind of jealous of my bike and it does not even arrive on island until next week! I plan to ride her around on the back but it would be even better and I think we would both enjoy it more if she had her own bike. I think she will be able and happy to ride the bike as I consider her non typical Japanese. (she has bike license, bus license, chauffer license and USCG boat captians license, also scuba instructor) but I want to make sure its not going to be physacaly too tall.
Can these bikes be lowered 3-4" Also how can front be lowered other than sliding up the fork tubes and raising the handle bars? Looks like that is good for only an inch max. I would like to keep the geometry level as possible.
