Shock oil change questions
#11
I am not bad mouthing ya 450atv on the issue, but I feel that a fluid change is in order to maintain proper stability and performance standards. The ""IF IT AIN'T BROKE,DON'T FIX IT" comment. Kind of why I flush all fluids yrly on my rides. ( I could have interpretted that differently, so sorry bro if this was the case)
I agree on the using of O2 and not NO2 is the easier of the two gases to obtain and use, but NO2 is so much more stable when under pressure(with no moisture), easy to obtain and use, which to me is a no brainer. Everyone will have their own way to deal with the "maintenance" of suspension. I just prefer Nitrogen over compressed air. Remember that moisture will kill reliability and consistent riding. TNC- you are still my hero in crime.
edit: In regards to suspension seals....I tried the allbalz seals on the 10r just to have them blown out on the first track day. I am sticking to the stock seals from now on. The '90 7r is still on the second set of stock seals with no issues. Go figure
