Default Shim Kit

What hotcams shim kit part number are you using. I cannot find anything for the klx250s. The hotcams web site does not list the klx250s. Amazon does not seem to have a listing for it as well.

This is the kit recommended to me. I have not pulled the trigger yet, so i'm not 100% but it's what i will order unless someone here says otherwise.

Kawasaki KLX250 Hot Cams 7.48 Valve Shim Kit on ebay. $100 for 2 boxes of every shim you will ever need for a klx250 or big bore!

wow thats a lot of cash for a pile of shims you will never need. Try calling around to bike shops and see if they will sell you them separately, or swap you for you old ones before you shell out for a whole set.

I believe any 7.48mm kit will fit the KLX. So, you can get them cheaper on ebay if you search for hot cams 7.48mm shim kit. They go around $70-75 on ebay.

Shim kit and lots of other KLX parts at:

Kawasaki KLX250S Parts, Performance, & Accessories - ProCycle

Haven't dealt with them yet but they seem to have competitive prices.
