Shift lever options?

Shift lever options?
So I taco'ed the mess out of my shift lever last week, and after 2 hours of bending its only worse... SOO I'm looking for options. Preferably options other than $40 for a stock shifter.
Motorcycle Superstore has their housebrand "Moose Racing" steel lever for the 2006 KLX 300 for $29.99 would this lever work? Or what about the steel IMS lever for a 2002 KLX 300 for 28.99?
What have you all gone with to replace a broken stock lever? I know this gets beaten around once in a blue moon but its usualy about hot-rod levers... I just need a stock replacement.
Thanks in advance
Cliff
edit: And what's the fun of a bent lever thread without a picture of the taco?

Whatever new lever you end up getting it would be a good idea to install brake snake cables on the shifter and on the brake to help prevent the levers from getting bent around when they catch branches or other things on the trail.
They are easy to install, cheap and might prevent it from happening again.
Happy trails!

canklx: It got bent in a crash... I went down coming out of a turn and the bike fell into the right tire rut (stupid ATV trails) and the lever was bent between the middle hump of the trail and the bike... brake snakes wouldn't have helped any Though I did get spit off and slide / roll pretty fun-like.
Thanks Dan, I may go to RMATV and search by the Honda since I have it saved in my "bikes" for my account, since our ride apparently shares so much.

MSR part# 07-0707 for the 650L Honda shift lever available through Tucker/Rocky. This is a steel version that is inexpensive and a tad longer than the stocker. I put one on my KLX, and it was awesome for clearance of my riding boot. The OEM version is too short for me.

Thanks, I've been having the same problem.

Wow, thanks TNC. I may scoop that up when income taxes get here. Gotta catch up on bills first. Also need a new lens for my goggles and new grips. Dang its expensive to ride a dirt bike!
