Shaved off 5lbs. in five minutes!
I replaced the stock #7 battery in my 09 KLX250S with a Ballistic Evo2 battery. The stock battery was about 6lbs. and the Ballistic battery weighs in at .8lbs. SO for a $99.95 I got rid of 5lbs. of dead weight and have a kick *** battery with 135 cold cranking amps. If you try and duplicate that weight reduction with titanium....it would cost about $400-$500 in hardware.
Needless to say I'm now a dealer for Ballistic battery's.
Just my 2 cents.

I remember commenting on the Ballistic batteries a few months ago. CPR, give us a long term test update, if you would. If they hold their charge as many years as the trusty old lead/acid jobs, I might be interested. I think the battery in my 9 is going on 6 years. I don't remove it from the bike....I just ride all year.

The stock CCA i believe is around 90 to 95. I wouldn't go any less than that. The Evo2 that's in my bike is a 4 cell like the one on Amazon for $89. 135 CCA.
