Servicing the Suspension
I've got over 2000miles logged, I want to change the front and rear fluids. Todd/Marty what is the right process for this bike. I've only done the KLR and it has drain screws in front. I've never serviced a rear, and without a service manual I'm a bit leary. My dealer doesn't list a manual yet. TIA

RE: Servicing the Suspension
Alright man I've never done it before but I found something that might help as long as you can stand my non-existant computer skills. Ihttp://www.motocross.com/motoprof/mo.../mototech.htmlts not the same shock but it might make it clear as mud! Sorry it's the only thing I could find.

RE: Servicing the Suspension
I've never done a rear shock. I always send it in. If/when it's time for work on mine, I'll just replace it with an Ohlins.
The UK KLX site has a good article on the front forks.

RE: Servicing the Suspension
Hey guys. New to this forum, but have been reading for awhile. You can do almost any service to the rear shock you want, But it needs to be charged with high pressure Nitrogen when reassembled. I use to service it myself, and have a shop recharge it for me. There is a schrader(?) valve on the bottom of the reservoir. It is alot eaier to have some one do it for you.
