RE: To be seen or not to be seen, that is the question
I will be taking the acerbis tail light off here in a month or so, once im done on the honda.... going back to stock tail light. Looks funny deej, i know you never seem to ride hard enough to lay the bike down so the stockers should be ok for you.... my bike gets sleepy alot, so i cant have the stock rear blinkers, plus i took off the stock mounting locations.... i have the stock front on though...

My bike has a tendency to be sleepy as well but its my stock mirrors that take a beating, I haven't noticed the blinkers to get too much abuse. I'm thinking about ordering up some folding mirrors and the mx rear fender but keeping the rack, who knows right now though.

Yea I need to take that off, I put that on summer before last when I stood the bike straight up on the back fender crossing a creek and a steep step up. The bike didn't hit the ground, but the back fender came in contact with a rock while the front tire was at twelve-o-clock, so there is a plastic crease there. Hmmmmmm I have one more Muzzy sticker maybe I'll see if I can fit it there. Or maybe I'll wait for the Kawi Forums sticker and see if it fits.

You guys might want to check out these blinkers - they are DOT approved and thus still very bright, but I'm pretty sure they won't stick out as much as the KLX stockers.

I've got these on my KTM and they work good. I shortened them up about an inch or so by removing the rubbery portion and JB-Welding the brass mounting bolt into the plastic housing. This was not so much because the stuck out too far, but rather to clear my exhaust exit. My Akrapovic pipe loves to melt turn signals.
I've been down with these several times and they've held up fine so far. Note that they are sold singly so if you need to replace one, you can buy just one and don't have to buy a pair.

You missed a spot.

Now my KLX looks dirty. Oh well, if its nice weather tomorrow, the Ranger & KLX will get a bath.
