The Applegate Ranger District was out doing a prescribed burn so we had to detour down Mule creek
trail man was it ever named right . Steep rocky and followed a creek bed for miles uprooted trees and lots of rocks.

Geez Deej your only 8 hours away by Dodge truck plan a summer vacation make a camping trip and we'll show ya around. and you guys on the other coast we have a motorcycle rental shop nearby they rent DRZ400's fly in and rent a bike. Come out in the summer months and you can ride the rim of Crater Lake, latespring and you can ride up in the high country snow permitting. Fall is equaly good ,but unpredictable at times. From Southern Oregon you can ride to the redwoods the Pacific ocean,Crater Lake ect.
