************************************************** *************************************

Well I got my Sargent seat for my 2009 KLX250SF.

Came in this big box (my pup was not interested):

Contents:

Comparison to stock (pretty noticeable):

Thoughts:
Product looks top notch quality.
Can't speak about comfort yet.. Just installed it.. So verdict is out on that until at least tomorrow.

My only concern at the moment is that there is some wiggle on the right side mounting bracket.
I thought it might have been due to something not aligning right.. but I tried it a few times with same results.

Here is what I am talking about (sorry about the awful quality of the pics/video):

Right side gap:

Left side gap:

I will have more to add to this once I put some seat time on it.

I'm not at my bike right now, but am pretty sure my seat (stock base with Seat Concepts kit) has that same wiggle. Can't remember if it was there before I did the Seat Concepts thing or not - I was a bit puzzled by it, but just said screw it and ride. BTW, looks from the pics that the new base is the same size as stock (looking at width around the rear mounts). Is that right?

Just installed mine and it fits perfectly. No ride yet, but it's already a HUGE improvement just sitting on the bike.

I had a Sargent seat on my Vstrom for 4 years and 60k miles, it was good for 500 mile days. Changed it to a Russell a year ago and that's good for 800 mile days. The point of this is to say I have a good feeling about this new seat!

Alright.. rode 20 miles into work today.
Here is my verdict so far..

Stock seat comfort was a 3/10 at best
Sargent seat comfort is 9/10.

The wider seat helps so much!

Regarding the fitment issue.. well it's not really an issue!
You obviously can't feel/notice the ~1 cm wiggle when on the seat.

Also, I can't remember if the wiggle is there stock so I will throw the stock seat back on tonight and try to wiggle it around.

ns503.. the Sargent seat pan (if that is what you are referring to) is definitely wider. It is really hard to see with that ****ty pic I posted.

I will definitely take better pics today.

So far this is how I see it:

Comfort: 9/10
Quality: 10/10
Price: 8/10
Customer Service: 10/10 (Dane - the rep is the man! Leaps and bounds above Corbin's "customer service")
Fit: *Going to see if the wiggle was there stock before I cast judgment.

None, fits rock solid. Are you sure you got the clip at the gas tank end engaged? Easy to do... DAMHIK

Pretty positive.. the whole seat does not wiggle only right by the mounting bracket there is roughly 1 cm of up and down movement.

I mounted it up last night at midnight so might be my oversight.. but I will check/reinstall today.

When installing last night, I noticed that I could push the seat down to where the right side was pretty close to flush (basically as flush as the left).. but the bolt hole would not line up with the seat bracket.
