Personally I'd say keep your air filter clean and you'll have to clean and lube your chain more often but other than that I don't think you'll run into much trouble.

Yes Just keep the air cleaner clean and another tip if your riding near the ocean take your bike to a car wash everytime you ride that salt will tear up your aluminum. I went to school in florida and its hard on stuff IMO
If you ride for a while your chain will most likely need replaced . I worked in a repair shop in florida for a few weeks and that was one thing they sell a lot of sand tears those chains up..... But Have fun Chains cost less than the fun you will have in that sand[sm=yikesomg.gif]
