i didnt know about any good trails around my parts until a friend of mine from work told me about proctor valley road and the trails that run off of it. it is the longest stretch of unpaved road in san diego i believe. its about 6 or 7 miles and very stuttery but legal for cars as well although i didnt see more than 2 and one of them was wrecked, the guy was still in the truck, he had a flat tire and a broken frnt fender. looks like he was going too fast for the dirt. anyway i looked on the net and it said the road is haunted or something but i didnt see anything but lots and lots of good trails. a little bit of everything from hills to berms and a nice little jump i found that i couldnt stay away from. the dirt is very fine like powdered sugar and makes a lot of dust so im going to definitely have to change my filter. i was the only one out there today, well me and a guy on a horse who waved at me. i cant wait to go back. also, the bike ran flawlessly, like a dream, like a rolex. did i mention it has 17,400 miles on it? oil changed every now and then lol. heres some pics.
