im having the guy make some engine guards too out of that same tubing
so that adds another week now that he has my bike
Not sure if I will get any finished pics from the racks or if he is going to wait until everything is made and finished
But if it looks as nice as the rear racks it will be worth the extra wait
and should look nice too, it wont have a skidplate just side engine protection

Got the bike back today
everything looks real nice
I was told there are 2 other racks he is making that will be wider then what I have
The top rack is pre drilled for the rotopax gas tank mount
Had a little hard time getting the helmet on, I may pick up a extension for the strap
or may not will have to see if I get quicker at mounting it
I do understand if I had bags on the racks most likely wont be able to mount the helmet anyways so keep that in mind
The side racks use the plastic bodywork mounting points, so take that into consideration when loading them up.
I had him make me a set of engine guards too
hopefully he will be selling these, no skidplate uses stock
Great for adding axillary lights
One little issue on the brake side the tip of my shoe hits the guard when placing foot on brake lever. Nothing to cause you not to brake, just surprised me the first time it happened. Deciding weather or not to slightly bend out brake lever or just live with it.
At least it does provide protection even the clutch lever side

too dark outside
so here are some low light shots
looks far enough away from the oil filter, and I can get to both screws
thats all im concerned about
not sure with the flywheel side
anything else probably have to remove the guard
