For-Sale HMF Slip-On Muffler / FMF Power Bomb
HMF Slip-On Muffler Quiet Core and Spark Arrestor w/< 1200 miles and FMF Power-Bomb Header that I had on my 2006 KLX250S. Due to a number of uncontrolled circumstances, I'm forced to go back to the stock system and be quiet:
$250.00 for both or $150 and $100 respectivley. I'll ship for additional $10 to $15 in the U.S.48 depending how far from Wisconsin.
The HMF and FMF both are in excellent shape performed and fit VERY GOOD! Sad to do this but have no choice.
I'll most likely put it out on ebay next week if I have no takers here.
Thanks

OK, Guess I'll be the only one to reply..........
I'll try this one more time, if it does no go, then it's not meant to be.
So to clear up any confusion on why I took it off and went back to stock is just this, I got busted by an A--Hole cop and had to go show the stock pipe installed to get out of a $150.00 fine. I even had the quiet core in but it's still way louder than stock as are all of the aftermarket pipes and I've heard all of them at various DS events. I decided to just leave it alone ( w/stock pipe-drilled) and play the stupid game, to get along with everyone. Since I made it a 310 with the HMF/FMF it really rocked! Now that I'm a unclogged so to speak 310 with out the HMF/FMF pipe it runs "almost" like it did when it was a good running 250 with everything.
So that all being said. there is absolutley nothing wrong with it' fit, perfromance, or condition. I'll let both parts go for $200.00. If no takers then I keep them for another place and time........ This is a great price for a full system.
Thanks!

Ok. Just got the bike. I'm definitely getting something in the next few days. Was leaning towards new, but saw this. I'll have to do a little more research. I'm a TBR fan on many bikes. See what you can find out. I'll see what I can find out.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I check both HMF and FMF web sites for part # vs model year. Both are the same for 2006 thru 2010.
also attached a pic of my bike with the system installed to show you all that it does fit nicley.

I just put an HMF quiet-core with spark arrestor on my 09 KLX250, with a bump up in jet size, and removed the snorkle. WOW! Much, much, MUCH better. If I hadn't already done this, I'd buy your deal. I don't know if the Power Bomb will increase power/response, but, the HMF certainly did!
With the snorkle in, it would bog. With the snorkle swiss-cheesed with 1/2 inch holes on the outside as well as the part that sticks down on the inside...it would still bog. With the swiss-cheesed snorkle cut off to within an inch of the top of the box, it would bog. Finally, took it out completely, and the bike is running PERFECTLY!
Someone should buy this setup...it's worth the price he's asking...
