I'm interested, but you'll have to post a sale price. I'm up in Fort Collins, so it would be 350 miles for me to drive down there. Another 500 miles puts me in Mesa, AZ where they're selling new 2007 KLXs for $4,144 (though I'm not sure how or why they'd list for so low).

Mine is like new with 398 miles. It comes with the basic mods including dual snorkel, carb slide drilled and N1TC needle set on 2nd slot, UNI filter, 14/48 sprockets. If you can buy one new for $4,144. OTD go for it; otherwise I will sell you mine for about that same price.

 

What all is in the big bore kit, ie what wouldI need to purchase separately? Being a 340 I'm guessing its sleeved as opposed to recoated? PM me with details and pricing if you don't mind.

 

Could you either post some pics here or email them to me? I'd love to see your bike. And, yeah, who knows about that AZ bike. Maybe the set-up fees are $1,000. Maybe they let a one-armed blind 10-year old assemble it.

 

Oh, and it also has a KLX300R exhaust. No catalytic converter, not loud, no repacking. I have an add coming out starting tomorrow. Price is $4295.00. I would love to post pics but don't have the time due to work and remodeling at the house. It looks just like the 2006 ones sitting on the showroom floor. Never dumped or abused in any way. I also have the 13 tooth countershaft sprocket and stock 42 tooth rear. The only sign of wear is the nipples on the tires are gone but the rear is 85 - 90% and the front is 95%. She is perfect in every way and starts very easy, just don't have time to ride as much as I would like.

 

That price for the AZ bikes is about what all the dealers in the Atlanta area would quote over the phone. When I went to them and got the "out the door price" it was much different! I did get a great deal on mine but it was a lot more than that. I can't remember the exact amounts but the price kept going up with prep, destination charges,tax, tag, title fees... When they got finished most of them added 1000 + to the cost of the bike. $4,200 is a great price it will sell as soon as someone looks at it.

 

I'm on business travel right now and dropped by a Richmond, VA dealership. They had a 2007 KLX with a price tag of $5,399. But, they had a sale on that gave $200 off the price. If you paid cash, you could take another $200 off the price. Not sure what was included in the price and I didn't ask anyone -- I would assume that they had already added in any prep and destination fees, though there is also sales tax in VA. Just thought I'd throw that out in the vein of discussing prices ... and it seems like people are always asking about price.

Here's a 2006 KLX that is also in SW Colorado that was put on ebay. More miles than your bike. Didn't reach the guy's reserve.
