Long time lurker here that's ready to sell the KLX. It's been a great bike for me to learn on, but as I move to Florida, I don't see myself riding nearly as much as I have here in the beautiful NC mountains.

2006 KLX250S – $2,800 (7,300+ miles)

-Bike rides great and needs nothing.

-I purchased the bike about 2 years ago when it only had 1280 miles on it. The previous owner had bought it for his wife. Since then it’s served mostly as a commuter bike with some nice scenic rides thrown in here and there. I’ve never been trail riding on it.

-The bike has been re-jetted, has aftermarket exhaust and the air intake has been switched which allows more air flow to match up with the jetting and high flow exhaust. The modifications really made the bike come alive as you can read in any forum thread on this bike.

-I’ve never laid the bike down and it didn’t appear the previous owners had either. However, some of the powerful storms we’ve had here in the past year have blown it over. Luckily the Barkbusters held up and the levers never paid the price.

-Also there are some scratches in the decals that would be hard to see in the pics. If interested I can upload more.

-No test rides without a valid motorcycle license and proof of insurance and cash in my hands.

-The bike is for sale in the Asheville, NC region as well.

Well there are quite a few places to ride in Florida, but they're all flat and mostly sugar sand.

I grew up in Florida. if I never have to go back, I'll be happy.

GLWS... seems like a reasonable price.
