Default For Sale; 2006 KLX 351 - Ultimate Dual Sport Adventure Bike!

Here's all that's been done to it;

1. Bill Blue 351cc Big Bore Kit. (Horsepower increased from 17 to 28 HP; dyno charts to prove it)
2. Pumper carb (from Bill Blue also)
3. Big Gun Evo complete exhaust system (header and muffler) with quiet tip insert
4. Dyno jetted and tuned
5. One Lynx Fiberglass Fairing with adjustable windshield by Britannia Composites
6. H.I.D. Dual Headlamps
7. Trail Tech Vapor Digital Instrument Gauge Cluster
8. Acerbis 3.2 gallon desert gas tank (with custom "KLX 351" stickers)
9. Dirt Bagz soft panniers with rack
10. Top case
11. Skid plate
12. Kickstarter kit
13. 12v socket (for GPS or other electronics)
14. Tusk handlebars
15. Tusk D Flex Handguards
16. UFO fork guards
17. Dunlop 606 tires (front and back), nearly new
18. Braided steel front brake cable

This bike is one of a kind and will take you anywhere! 6,000 miles on bike, approx. 1,000 miles on top end. I have another adventure bike and just don't ride this one enough. It needs to be ridden! $4500 OBO. I am near Albuquerque, NM.

That bike looks awesome! I hope you get plenty of good offers on it and that it winds up in a good home.

From curiousity, what other adventure bike do you have?

Best of luck.

Jesus crap, $4,500!

I tried selling my 351 last year for $2,500 and got no bites.

Good luck!

Great looking bike, that's inspiring.

If that was in Oz it would be a bargain, there's dead stock bikes with same miles, same year selling for as much or even more.

Can I ask how easy it was to fit the fairing, I assume it was the generic model?

Keeps all the dirt and crap and moisture against the pipe. It will make your SS pipe rot out. Yes, racers use it, but alot of stuff racers use isnt made for longevity. High performance and longevity never belong in the same sentence...

Both look very nice and well maintained. Factrory rear blinkers and by the looks of it the KLX didn't spend much time off road, well, real off road.

Will make a nice bike for someone. Be ready to negotiate on price.
