DD-

I ordered a set of the long stalk for the front to clear the headlight shroud and a set of the mini's for the rear rubber mount.

http://cyclewareables.com/pages/turn...mini_stalk.htm

Nice price, I hope they work out.

Yeah-had my eyes on these for some time now.............

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...amp;Division=6

I want to first see if I can actually shorten the stock arm length and reuse them again, only shorter.

I had looked at it one time in the past, but these rubber extension things add a new perspective and I think there may be a way to reuse the stock markers in a shorter form.
If not, I will be going with some type of mini stalk up front (with shaving the shroud a bit) and some flush mounts in the rear. This bike looks awsome the way it is in it's stock form, but if you add and take away certain things you can really liven this baby up a bit........REFLECTORSare for little girls bikes that have tassles and training wheels........not a MUD HOG!!!!!!
Plus those stock twig guards are useless.................
Anyway, thanks for reminding me that I had more stuff to buy this week........

SOLD..............

Gonna get a set myself in the very near future..........

Now, I'm thinking there could be a way to shorten the stock signal arm by half the distance and use these.
I dunno, gotta check it out.......Let ya know how I make out. Ideas welcome........

I don't know about shortening the stock turn signals, but I'm using these in the back. The main body of the signal is almost centeredunder the rack handles ... not completely protected, but they don't stick out as far as the stock ones and won't be forced to bend as much in a fall. DOT approved, also.

Are those as bright as the stock blinkers, or at least close?

I think they are the Baja Designs dual sport signals, available everywhere.

Just ordered these.......Flushmount rears & mini stalk fronts.......

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...amp;Division=6

I've read that the font shroud may have to be cut a hair in order for these to fit.

I'll post some pics if anyone is interested.

The lights are just as bright as the OEM lights, but slightly smaller in area (at least 3/4, though).

Actually I have been thinking about this for some time, and I think for now I am going to put all of the stock turn signals back on. It just doesn't seem that the ones built into the Acerbis hand guards are doing the trick, not bright at all, and the rear is where you really need the brightness and visibility. The problem with putting narrow or flush mounted signals on the bikeis that the closer they are to the width of the brake light the more they get lost as a separate light. So I think I will be putting mine back on. Plus in most states there is a 15 inch minimum distance WAC for separation, don't want to give them an excuse to pull me over.[&:]

Long link is making the page too wide.
